Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic campus location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and people-first approach to every shift.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors with directions, questions, and reporting concerns related to the location.
• Document routine activities, unusual conditions, and/or incidents, and communicate with supervisors, local staff, and/or public responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
