Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Capital Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Knowledge/skill set for cardiac medical and procedural patients, including caths and cardiac drips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Strong medical-surgical background with telemetry preferred.

Unit Details: - Cardiac medical/med-surg telemetry unit. - Patient ratios: days/eves 1-4; nights 1-5. - Uses telemetry monitoring with some hard-wired rooms, vein finder for IV therapy, portable pulse oximetry, continuous oximetry, manual/automatic vital sign machines, blood glucose monitoring, mechanical lifts, dopplers, medication scanning capabilities, and SoftLab. - Cardiac medical patient population includes hemodynamically stable MI, acute/chronic heart failure, new-onset Afib with or without RVR, stable dysrhythmias, cardiac cath patients without interventions, ablations, cardioversions, ICDs, pacers, medication loads, CardioMEMS, pericardial drains, patients requiring cardiac drips, ICU transfers, neuro/CVA patients, and pulmonary patients requiring BiPAP, high-flow, and Salter. - Typical procedures/cases include cardiac caths (left/right, femoral/radial approach) without intervention; pacers, ablations, cardioversions, EP studies; and cardiac drips including Amio, diltiazem, renal-dose dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, Lasix up to 40mg, and insulin drips.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: - Floating within like areas.
