Description

Our client, a leading global organization, is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst II to join a collaborative finance team supporting financial operations, risk, compliance, and internal controls across multiple business areas.

This role will work closely with finance and accounting partners to execute internal financial controls, support compliance initiatives, and contribute to key financial projects. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, solid knowledge of GAAP, and the ability to work independently while navigating a large, complex organization.

Key Responsibilities


Execute and support internal financial controls and compliance activities.


Partner closely with finance and accounting teams on financial and operational initiatives.


Support risk and compliance activities across multiple areas of the business.


Assist with financial projects and provide support to other teams as business needs arise.


Analyze financial information and identify connections, trends, and potential issues across business operations.


Help ensure financial processes and controls are completed accurately and consistently.


Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while independently managing assigned responsibilities.


Demonstrate strong ownership, judgment, and attention to detail in all financial work.


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


3+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting.


Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.


Experience with financial controls, accounting processes, or compliance-related activities.


Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Experience working within a large, complex corporate environment.


Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications


CPA or progress toward CPA certification.


Previous audit experience.


Experience supporting internal controls or regulatory compliance.


Experience within a large-scale corporate finance organization.


Strong professional judgment and ability to connect information across financial processes and business operations.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour.
