Logistics Operations ManagerAKHIRE is recruiting for the following position: Logistics Operations Manager. Location: Soldotna, AK. Pay: $97,000 - $110,000 Per Year. Full-time: Monday-Fri + OT.We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee daily operations, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include:Leading the day-to-day operations of the terminal, including freight receiving, loading, unloading, staging, dispatch, and delivery coordination.Supervising and providing direction to a team of approximately five drivers responsible for transporting and handling freight.Coordinating employee schedules, monitoring attendance, and managing daily staffing needs.Promoting efficient operations while maintaining high standards of productivity and customer service.Tracking operational performance and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.Working closely with departments such as Human Resources, Safety, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales to support overall business operations.Ensuring safety and compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA.Adhering to company policies and procedures.Demonstrated leadership and operational management skills, strong critical thinking and decision making abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily operations with minimal supervision.Requirements: Minimum of 1+ year of related experience in terminal operations, warehousing, transportation, or a related field. High School Diploma or GED (equivalent). Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
