Summary:

Southern Glazer's Beverage Company located in Norton, MA is hiring qualified Delivery Route CDL Drivers with Class B to join our team. Deliver beer, wine and spirits on a local route supplying product to our customers.

• Tue-Fri Days
• Start Time 6AM
• $27.40/hr. (OT after 8 hours)
• Plus, Incentive Pay!
• Teamsters Union 653

Essential Duties:

• Safely drives straight/box truck (minimum Class B) to destination
• Carefully unloads product from trailer using two-wheeler, pallet jack or by hand; and places in designated customer storage area
• Verifies the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtains proper signatures
• Provides excellent customer service to all accounts
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and reports any discrepancies indicating truck condition to supervisor
• Able to back truck in and out of receiving docks
• Maintains all paperwork; invoices, credits, manifests, returns, and safety check of vehicle
• Keeps truck clean inside and out
• Maintains a professional demeanor in both attitude and dress
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• Possess a current, valid CDL license with a clean DMV record
• Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Certification for material handling equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to speak and write the English language at least at the high school level
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Excellent customer relation skills
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation
• Ability to read maps/directions and operate GPS units.
