Job Title Project Manager - Water Services Group WPG Employment Type Regular Job Description CDM Smith currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with previous experience managing Water and Wastewater projects to join our West Pacific group. In this position, you will be the main point of contact for planning and design of drinking water, wastewater treatment, pump station, conveyance, and water resources projects in Southern California and assist with business development activities. Our water services have spanned the areas of design and construction administration of drinking water, wastewater, water resources, storm water, environmental, master planning studies and modeling. For more information about our Project Management roles, tools and culture, please visit this website Responsibilities Managing and serving as the Project Manager on major area California water & wastewater projects. Providing technical guidance, leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our water services design capabilities. Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed. Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables. Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing meeting clients in the Southern California region. Participation in professional societies relevant to the industry. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients’ organizations. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. 4 years of related experience. PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list). Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Additional Compensation All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position. Work Location Options Hybrid Work Options may be considered for successful candidate. Pay Range Minimum $104,562 Pay Range Maximum $182,978 Additional Pay Range Information The pay range for this position is listed above. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for this position based on the geographic location assigned to the position. Please note that pay ranges vary based on geographic location. In addition to geographic location, the company considers several other factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, the candidate’s work experience, education/training and key skills.
