Join our dedicated outpatient team at the Midlothian clinic, where patient-centered care is our top priority. In this role you will directly report to the Center Administrator and play an important part in delivering high-quality clinical support to our patients. Midlothian clinic address: 6900 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, VA 23225.

Main Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant, you will perform a variety of clinical responsibilities, including:

• Obtain patient histories, discuss symptoms, and record vital signs
• Administer medications and vaccines following protocols
• Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens
• Prepare and maintain clean, sterile examination and equipment
• Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Use Your Skills to Make an Impact

Required:

• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 3+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR Certified
• Meet patient-facing role requirements, including participation in our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program

Preferred:

• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• At least 1 year of MA experience
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication

Schedule:

Onsite, Full-time, 40 hours per week

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $43,000 - $56,200 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
