Shift: Multiple shifts available (7:30 AM 3:00 PM)

Shift Length: 8 hours

Hours/Week: 40

Employment Type: Full Time (Travel assignment)

License/Certs: BLS required; RN License in state of employment or compact; CVOR and EPIC charting experience (minimum 2 years)

Experience: 1+ year in cardiovascular surgery preferred

Pay Rate: $60.30/hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide nursing care for cardiovascular (CVOR) patients, including open-heart surgery cases
• Support general operating room procedures as needed
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols, monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately
• Assess patient and family education needs, provide appropriate education and resources
• Assist in managing complex clinical situations independently and effectively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Texas or compact license
• Minimum of 2 years' CVOR and EPIC charting experience in cardiovascular surgeries
• BLS certification required
• Ability to support both CVOR and general OR procedures
• Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular patient care and team communication
