Lead Toddler Teacher

Pay: $20–$24 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $500
Location: Kings Park, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

The Learning Experience is hiring an experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to create a fun, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, grow, and thrive.

You'll have the support of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, classroom resources, and a collaborative center team—giving you more time to focus on what matters most: teaching and building meaningful relationships with children and families.

What You'll Do

• Lead a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate preschool classroom
• Bring TLE's L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to life through hands-on lessons and activities
• Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
• Create a positive classroom environment where every child feels welcomed and supported
• Observe children's development and communicate progress with families
• Maintain classroom routines, learning materials, and required documentation
• Partner with fellow teachers and center leadership to create an exceptional family experience
• Follow New York childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

  What We're Looking For

• Must meet applicable New York State requirements for a preschool group teacher
• Previous experience in a preschool, childcare, daycare, or early childhood classroom
• Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, CDA, credential, or relevant coursework/experience consistent with NY requirements
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for helping young children learn and develop
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Must meet applicable background screening, health, and training requirements

This position requires active supervision of young children and the ability to participate in classroom and outdoor activities, including standing, bending, sitting on the floor, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be available.
