Job Summary**

The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist at Georgica Auto Holdings is responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality pre-owned vehicles through various channels, ensuring a diverse and desirable inventory for our dealerships. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a keen eye for vehicle condition, and a comprehensive understanding of market trends.

Job Responsibilities**

* Identify, evaluate, and acquire pre-owned vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, wholesale channels, and private sellers.
* Conduct thorough inspections of potential acquisitions to assess vehicle condition, reconditioning needs, and market value.
* Negotiate purchase prices and terms effectively to secure vehicles at competitive rates.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with vehicle suppliers, auction representatives, and other industry contacts.
* Analyze market data and trends to inform acquisition strategies and optimize inventory selection.
* Prepare and process all necessary documentation for vehicle purchases and transfers.
* Collaborate with sales and service departments to understand inventory needs and reconditioning requirements.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant automotive industry regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of all acquisition activities and vehicle information.

Compensation**

$20.00/hr + bonus

Job Qualifications**

* Proven experience in vehicle acquisition, wholesale purchasing, or a related automotive role.
* Strong knowledge of various vehicle makes, models, and market values.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to accurately assess vehicle condition and identify potential issues.
* Proficiency in using automotive valuation tools and market analysis platforms.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
* High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
