Job Opportunity – LDRP Registered Nurse – Montana

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends; limited call (maximum once per pay period with 30-minute callback time); holiday coverage required (minimum of 3 out of 5 major holidays); 48-hour weeks approved

Highlights:

• Full-spectrum LDRP position at a 22-bed Critical Access Hospital providing labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on patient acuity and care phase
• Epic charting system with experienced interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Reduced orientation period of 24 hours for experienced travelers (0 hours non-billable orientation)
• Small daily census averaging 2 patients in a 3-room unit with wireless fetal monitoring and advanced PPH management equipment
• Limited floating to assist with procedural skills when census is low; no patient assignments outside primary unit

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of LDRP or Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Active travel nursing experience required; seasoned travelers preferred
• Current Compact nursing license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP required; CLC and STABLE preferred
• Demonstrated competency in sterile vaginal exams, circulating for cesarean sections, triage of obstetrical patients, and full-spectrum newborn care
• Must provide two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
