Registered Nurse – PacuBanner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse – PACU to join our dynamic Surgical Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes for every patient.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after surgical proceduresServe as the patient advocate throughout the perioperative processMaintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care activitiesCommunicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and familiesAdhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory standardsFloat to the Loveland Campus OR as operationally neededRequired QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Colorado (or compact state eligibility)BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required or must obtain within a defined timeframeStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environmentPreferred QualificationsOperating Room experience strongly preferredCNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification preferredExperience with a variety of surgical specialtieWhy Banner Fort Collins Medical Center?At Banner Health, we are committed to making healthcare easier for our patients, our communities, and our team members.
