Seasonal Server - Canton

Trillium is looking for a restaurant Server to join our team! Our ideal candidate will be passionate about food and service, and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our guests with a friendly, outgoing disposition. As a representative of Trillium your role is key in providing an enjoyable experience for our customers through your experience and teamwork. Job Duties & Responsibilities Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact and friendly verbal greeting. Memorize our food and beverage menus and make recommendations to our dining room guests. Take food and beverage orders and enter them into our point of sales system in a timely fashion. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible. Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary Desired Qualifications & Abilities Qualifications & Experience Minimum 18 years of age 1 years experience in a serving role TIPs training by start date Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and holidays. Exceptional guest service skills Ability to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment. A strong team player, organized with great attention to detail Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol (e.g. TIPS) Knowledge of food service regulations an asset Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance. 401K plan with generous match with no wait period #J-18808-Ljbffr Trillium
