Code Vessel Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Sunday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)

*Job Duties:*

• Perform code welding on pressure vessels according to ASME standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and technical drawings

*Work Environment:* This position operates in an industrial shop environment with exposure to heat, welding fumes, sparks, and elevated noise levels. Dress Code: Steel-toe boots, long-sleeve work shirts, and work pants are required. Proper PPE including welding hood, gloves, safety glasses, and other protective equipment must be worn at all times.

*Physical Requirements:* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted. Ability to stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts. Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and working in confined spaces

*Must Have Qualifications:* Previous Code Welding experience required. Experience welding pressure vessels according to ASME standards. Ability to read blueprints and welding procedures accurately. Must be able to communicate effectively in English

*Disqualify If:* No previous Code Welding or pressure vessel welding experience. Unable to pass welding test. Unable to read blueprints or welding procedures. Unable to work 12-hour shifts or weekends as scheduled. Unable to work safely in industrial shop conditions. Unwilling to wear required PPE at all times. Unable to communicate effectively in English

Code Vessel Welder Qualifications:

• Previous Code Welding and pressure vessel welding experience required
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and ASME specifications
• Must be willing to complete a welding test.

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
