Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Consultant to support data analytics, data quality, and data stewardship initiatives for a pharmaceutical Neuroscience portfolio focused on Parkinson's disease. This role will work closely with Market Access, Patient Services, Trade & Distribution, Commercial Analytics, technology teams, and external specialty pharmacy partners.

The ideal candidate will have mandatory hands-on experience with Dataiku , strong SQL and Power BI skills, and experience analyzing healthcare or pharmaceutical data. The individual will be responsible for validating incoming data, investigating discrepancies, monitoring trends, developing dashboards, and translating complex data findings into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and monitor data received from specialty pharmacies, trade partners, and other external vendors.
• Use Dataiku and SQL to analyze datasets, investigate discrepancies, identify anomalies, and support data-quality improvements.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate business trends and insights.
• Monitor data quality, completeness, accuracy, compliance, and alignment with established business rules.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and abnormalities, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Services, Trade Marketing, Program Solutions, brand leadership, and technology teams to understand business requirements.
• Support data onboarding, data integration, data management, and improvements to existing data flows and processes.
• Translate business needs into practical analytical solutions and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, documentation, project coordination, and issue follow-up.
• Support data compliance and stewardship activities across pharmaceutical brands and specialty pharmacy partners.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Approximately 6 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, data management, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Dataiku , including practical data preparation, transformation, analysis, or workflow development.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL , including querying, analyzing, and validating complex datasets.
• At least 3 years of experience with Power BI or comparable dashboarding and visualization tools .
• Experience working with healthcare, pharmaceutical, patient-level, specialty pharmacy, claims, Market Access, or trade-related data.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, data reconciliation, data governance, and data integration.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze large datasets and communicate meaningful trends.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical Market Access, Patient Services, Specialty Pharmacy, Trade & Distribution, or Access & Reimbursement.
• Experience with patient-level datasets such as IQVIA APLD, LAAD, or SHA PTD.
• Familiarity with EDI transaction data, including 867, 852, 844, 850, 810, and 845.
• Experience with Snowflake, data lakes, big data platforms, or cloud-based data architectures.
• Experience with real-world evidence, healthcare claims, pharmaceutical data compliance, or external partner data feeds.
• Proven ability to implement technology-driven solutions and improve data processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Dataiku professional who combines strong SQL and BI capabilities with healthcare or pharmaceutical data experience. They should be comfortable investigating data-quality issues, working with external partners, developing insightful dashboards, and communicating findings that support business decisions.

Note: Candidates must have genuine, demonstrable Dataiku experience. Experience limited to theoretical knowledge or familiarity with the tool is not sufficient.
