Los Angeles Office - Real Estate Associate At least 4‑7 years of experience to join our rapidly expanding practice. The ideal candidate should be savvy in negotiating the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, construction, and financing of real estate projects. Candidates must be self‑motivated, personable team players who are comfortable directly interfacing with clients and leading matters as appropriate. Outstanding academic and professional credentials are needed. Experience in a large law firm setting is preferred. Candidates must be admitted to practice in California. The target annual pay range for this role in Los Angeles is $310,000 – $395,000 plus bonuses based on performance. Positions outside of Los Angeles will be subject to annual pay ranges specific to the market for that particular geographic location. Actual pay will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience and skillset. The compensation range listed is just one component of Blank Rome’s total compensation package for employees. Candidates should have significant experience in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Substantial experience drafting pleadings, written discovery, and motions is a must. Candidates must be highly motivated, personable team players, have outstanding academic and professional credentials, and be admitted to practice in California. Los Angeles Office - Entertainment Attorney At least 5 years of experience in entertainment, media, or related transactional law, either at a law firm and/or in house. The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, and experience advising clients across the entertainment, media, and creative industries on a wide range of transactional, contractual, and business matters. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with artists, producers, executives, and other industry stakeholders including agents and personal managers. The position requires a self‑motivated, personable team player with outstanding academic and professional credentials. Admission to practice in California is required. Los Angeles Office - Matrimonial Associate 2‑5 years of experience. Candidates must have excellent research, writing, and discovery skills, and significant hands‑on experience with drafting motions and pleadings. Strong interpersonal skills for extensive communications with clients and opposing counsel are required. Family law and/or accounting experience is a plus. Candidates must be self‑motivated, personable team players, have outstanding academic and professional credentials, and be licensed to practice in California. Healthcare Associate (Multiple Offices) 3‑6 years of substantive experience handling healthcare transactions (M&A, private equity) in a law firm or corporate setting. Candidates can be based out of our Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C., offices. This associate will be part of our Corporate, M&A and Securities group. Candidates should have experience advising clients on key health care regulatory issues, including the Stark Law, Anti‑Kickback Statute, HIPAA, corporate practice of medicine, and reimbursement rules. Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, such as physician employment agreements, management service agreements (MSAs), clinical trial agreements, and vendor contracts is a plus. Candidates must have excellent research, writing, and communication skills, be self‑motivated, confident, personable team players, have outstanding professional credentials, and must be admitted to practice in their respective state. Multiple Offices - Patent Agent/Patent Attorney (Chemistry) At least 2‑4 years of experience to support the Firm’s patent prosecution practice. Candidates can be based out of our Boston, Chicago, Houston, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. offices. Successful candidates will possess a Master’s Degree or Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry, organic chemistry, applied chemistry, polymer science, polymer engineering, biochemistry, or a related field. The Patent Agent or Patent Attorney will draft and prosecute applications through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and support due diligence. Candidates must be registered to practice in front of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, be Patent Bar eligible, and if appropriate, licensed to practice law in their respective state. Candidates must have strong time management skills, be able to meet and manage internal and client‑driven deadlines with assignments coming from multiple partners and clients, have strong attention to detail, writing skills, and analytical skills, and be able to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
