Revenue & Pricing Analyst (Utility revenue, Pricing, Market analysis experience preferred)

Our client – a major utility firm based out of Westchester County, NY – has an immediate need for a Revenue & Pricing Analyst. Project Overview Streamline customer savings calculations and analytics using PowerBI to increase the R&PA team’s bandwidth and enable support for larger initiatives. Support the group in other recurring monthly and annual deliverables. Responsibilities Enhance the accuracy and depth of customer savings analyses by implementing PowerBI solutions, including gathering internal requirements, automating monthly rate inputs, accounting for electric market conditions in NYS, tracking Public Service Commission policies and rulings, streamlining calculations, and creating dynamic visualizations. Support recurring monthly and annual deliverables such as analyzing customer Energy Charge Adjustments, Cost of Service studies, customer rate developments, and rate reporting. Collaborate in the rate‑setting processes, performing impact analyses on customer bills, gathering rate assumptions and inputs, developing supporting rate data, and verifying rate outputs for accuracy. Skills Advanced level knowledge of PowerBI. Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data linking to Access databases; an Excel test will be given at interview. Basic knowledge of the utility industry and the NYISO market. Intermediate knowledge of economics, finance, and accounting concepts. Excellent analytical, statistical, and quantitative analysis skills. Ability to interpret and analyze financial, marketing, and utility tariff data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain concepts clearly to peers. Ability to anticipate problems, streamline processes, and propose solutions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math, or related discipline (required). MBA or other graduate degree (preferred). Minimum 2 to 4 years of directly relevant analytical experience (required).
