LPN Homecare

Hourly Pay: $29 per hour base rate. Current opportunities for $35 per hour up to $45 per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Charleston is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Most patients who qualify for private duty nursing services require specialized care involving tracheostomy and ventilator management, making experience with these skills highly desirable.

That said, we also encourage nurses without current or prior tracheostomy or ventilator experience to apply. Some patients require other skilled nursing services, such as tube feeding management and care for various complex medical needs. Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.

• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.

• Current BLS card.

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
