Facility ManagerTampa, Florida, United StatesWork Arrangement: This is an onsite position.Job Overview: The Facilities Manager at AEVEX Aerospace maintains and oversees the grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure a safe and functional worksite. They will perform many maintenance, safety and management tasks that promote a clean and safe working environment for all employees.Essential Functions:Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance ordersCoordinate between company and outside contractors to resolve issues and execute planned facility modifications and expansionInspect and perform routine maintenance on facilities and equipment including making repairs as neededReceive, manage, and process work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quicklyTrain and coach direct reports to promote a highly skilled and effective facilities teamMonitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spacesMaintain files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for facility equipment and/or servicesSchedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendorsEnsure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionalsCreate reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staffDraft and implement preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipmentParticipate in emergency response planning and oversee the execution of facility preparations in response to changing weather conditions.Prepare and file government compliance reportsEnsures that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulationsParticipate in strategic planning by forecasting facility short, mid and long term requirementsDevelop and submit facility requirements in support of annual budgeting processProvide recommendations for purchases of new equipmentMaintains facility inventory and orders supplies as necessaryPerforms other related duties as assigned.
