Your role will center on supporting grades 3–5 students within one intermediate building, using your expertise to provide consultative and direct services. This is a flexible, part-time schedule, offering a great work-life balance while making a positive impact.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current OT license in Illinois
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy highly desired
- Comfort providing fine motor and sensory support to elementary students
- Ability to conduct both consults and targeted direct therapy
Responsibilities:
- Deliver mostly consultative OT services with some direct intervention to a caseload of about 25 students
- Provide fine motor and sensory support as needed
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop effective intervention plans
- Document student progress and participate in relevant meetings
