Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
This role supports grain handling operations by safely unloading trailers, preparing loads for processing, and accurately recording truck load data. You will perform physically demanding tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments while following established safety and quality procedures.
Responsibilities

• Unload trailers of grain into designated dump areas in a safe and efficient manner.
• Open floor traps and trailer traps to allow for the controlled dumping of grain.
• Collect grain samples from each load for testing and quality verification.
• Perform basic computer operations and data entry for all truck loads to ensure accurate records.
• Lift and secure trailer lids to prepare trailers for the loading of grain.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Assist with general production tasks, including inspection, packaging, and machine operation as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other loading equipment when required, following safety guidelines.
• Support overall production flow by performing general labor duties and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of production-based work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Experience with general labor tasks in a production or industrial environment.
• Ability to perform basic computer operations and data entry accurately.
• Capability to work in all weather conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort working with grain handling equipment, traps, and loading systems.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to follow instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, inspection, and packaging work.
• Familiarity with forklift operation and loading activities.
• Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing or processing setting.
• Comfort with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable transportation to travel with a group to different work locations as needed.

Work Environment
This position follows a structured schedule, with core hours from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on most days and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays, including weekend work and one day off during the week. You may travel most days to a nearby facility as part of a group using company-provided vehicles. The work takes place both indoors and outdoors, requiring comfort working in all weather conditions and exposure to the elements. The role involves physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and handling grain and related equipment. The dress code requires steel-toed boots or shoes, jeans, and a work shirt to ensure safety and durability in a production environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Huntley, MT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
