CFS is partnering with a well-established company in Bremen to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist

This Accounts Payable Specialist will support the accounting and finance department with day-to-day invoice processing, payment coordination, and vendor communication, ensuring all transactions are accurate and on time

The right Accounts Payable Specialist will be detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a collaborative office environment where accuracy and efficiency are key

Position: Fully in-office in Bremen, IN | Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm

Job Duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding to general ledger accounts
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to verify accuracy before payment
• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
• Maintain accurate accounts payable files and documentation for audits and month-end close
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies or payment issues promptly
• Assist with month-end accruals and support the finance team with reporting as needed

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 13 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting support
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to manage sensitive financial data with discretion and professionalism
