Giggles Drop in Childcare is looking for a Childcare Assistant Director to join our team and provide leadership and guidance to our staff. In The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, communicating with parents, leading and inspiring the staff, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to think strategically, and a commitment to providing quality customer service. This position also includes directly caring for children on a daily basis as a childcare provider. 

This position will require occasional evening and Saturday hours. Our hours of operation are:

Monday-Wednesday 7:30am-9:00pm

Thursday 7:30 am-9:00 pm

Friday and Saturday 7:30 am-10:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the centers
• Lead and motivate staff to ensure that objectives are met and problems are resolved.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure quality childcare and great customer service
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff members.
• Monitor performance of staff members and provide feedback.

Qualifications
- Education administration experience
- Higher education teaching background
- University-level teaching skills
- Proven experience working with childcare staff
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with staff and parents
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
