Your Role What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct a wide array of both routine and advanced clinical lab testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results meticulously, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure the functionality of lab instruments through preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document lab processes scrupulously, mentor new staff and students, while also upholding the highest standards of lab quality.
• Ensure that your work environment remains clean and safe, strictly following all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Keep your certification current throughout your tenure.
