IMI is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for customers placing concrete orders, requesting pricing, and coordinating deliveries. In this role, you'll work closely with customers, dispatch, plant managers, and drivers to ensure every order is accurate, on time, and delivered with exceptional service.

What You'll Do

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll help customers receive the right products at the right time while supporting efficient plant operations and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls
• Process concrete orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide pricing information for cash (COD) customers
• Recommend products and value-added solutions based on customer needs
• Schedule orders and coordinate deliveries
• Communicate with plant managers regarding production schedules and material availability
• Assist drivers with routing and delivery information when needed
• Update order changes quickly and accurately within the dispatch system
• Maintain detailed customer records and order accuracy
• Build strong relationships with customers through responsive, professional service
• Work closely with dispatch, operations, and management to ensure customer commitments are met
• Support additional customer service and sales initiatives as assigned

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Ability to learn new software systems quickly
• Professional demeanor with both internal and external customers

Preferred

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Inside Sales

• Building Materials
• Dispatch
• Order Entry
• Logistics
• Call Center
• Sales Support

Additional qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Knowledge of local geography or mapping software
• Previous concrete or construction industry experience
