Mercury Marine Assembler I - Molding- 3rd Shift

Position Overview An Assembler is responsible for production‑assembly of molded plastic parts in a highly repetitive environment. Operators run machines following prescribed steps, record process data, read and interpret blueprints, and use measurement tools independently. Essential Functions Operate machining equipment, select programs, change fixtures, and run machines. Record process control data and read and interpret blueprint tolerances. Use measurement tools, start up and shut down equipment, and operate tools independently. Use hand tools, scales, fixtures, assembly presses, and drill presses. Stand and sit for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; manipulate small to large parts. Work in a team environment, follow direction, and prepare container tickets. Operate in a chemical‑controlled environment requiring personal protective equipment. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Basic reading, writing and math skills. Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools, machinery and gauges. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Qualified and competent after a structured training period. Working Conditions Manufacturing area with exposure to chemicals, fumes, hot temperatures and ergonomic hazards. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, shoes, and hearing protection is required. Machine guards and ergonomic programs are in place to reduce injury risk. Pay Range $18.00 – $21.57 per hour. Actual base pay varies by qualifications, experience and business need. Benefits Medical, dental and vision coverage.
