Job Title: Appeals Supervisor

Location: Remote (U.S. – all states)

Pay: $21 – $23 / hr + quarterly bonus eligibility

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing organization in the healthcare payment integrity space, to hire an Appeals Supervisor. This role supports a high‑volume appeals team and plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, workflow efficiency, and team development. The company offers a collaborative environment, ongoing training, and long‑term stability.

• Lead daily operations for the appeals and audit team, ensuring timely case handling
• Review team workloads and assign new appeal files through email or fax
• Monitor communication channels and respond to internal and external inquiries
• Collaborate with leadership on department initiatives and special projects
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when needed
• Support continuous training and development for team members

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare or medical operations setting
• Experience supervising 15–20 employees in a production‑driven environment
• Strong understanding of claims and appeals workflows (client will train on niche processes)
• Confident leader who can take initiative and hold team members accountable
• Strong communication skills and comfort navigating multiple systems
• No coding or clinical background required

• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
• Start Date: ASAP
• Employment Type: Direct hire
• Work Environment: Fully remote
• Systems: Proprietary internal platform (user‑friendly)
• Training: Week 1 compliance and onboarding, followed by ongoing development
• Bonus Eligibility: Based on team performance metrics
