• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $75.00-$80.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 3×12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); every third weekend required (Friday - Saturday)

Job Summary

This is a 36 hours per week travel nursing position in the ICU at a hospital facility in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The role is a night-shift ICU RN assignment requiring specialized Medical ICU and Surgical ICU experience, with Epic charting proficiency and float capability to the Emergency Department for boarders as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care on night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3×12-hour shifts per week
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2
• Float to the Emergency Department for boarders, as needed
• Utilize Epic for all charting and clinical documentation
• Cover every third weekend (Friday - Saturday)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Must have previous Medical ICU experience
• Must have previous Surgical ICU experience

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Epic charting system (required)
• Ability to float to the Emergency Department for boarder patients as needed

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3×12-hour shifts
• Every third weekend coverage required (Friday - Saturday)
• Float to ED for boarders as needed
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam
• Both exams allow 1 attempt only - if either exam is not passed, the contract is cancelled immediately
• Study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs
