At PGIM, You Can!What you will doThe PGIM Real Estate Loan Servicing business, has an immediate opportunity within the accounting division at their Dallas location. PGIM Real Estate is seeking an Associate Manager, to join its Agency Accounting Team. You will be responsible for the preparation of Agency mortgage loan journal entries corresponding to the life cycle of the loan (i.e., borrower deposit, rate lock, funding, and loan settlement) as well as maintaining the associated cash logs. Other related responsibilities include accounting for Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR’s), analytics (e.g., Revenue schedules and “Goal Posts”), PASS account reconciliations (Prudential’s system for assuring materially correct Balance Sheet account balances), Loan Fee accounting, debt (to fund loans) tracking, and creation of robust policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, initiative-taking, and work well within a fast-paced, challenging environment. They will take ownership of their work and accountability for driving positive business outcomes.This position is based out of our Dallas, TX office. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees work remotely and from the office. You are expected to be in the Dallas office three times a week.What you can expectManagement of experienced accountants including preparation and supervision of the following:Agency cash logs and corresponding journal entries.Bank account reconciliations and management of the bank reconciliation database.Prepare or review closing wires and reconcile borrower’s deposits through loan fee accounting.Manage borrower directed reserve investments and ability to communicate with the borrower and investment advisor as needed.Mortgage loan accounting entries (including review and oversight of maintaining the Agency Mortgage Loan Master Files which track loans at rate lock, funding, and settlement).Review mortgage loan agreements to ensure use of correct interest rate and principal when preparing journal entries.Review monthly revenue schedules, financial reports and obtaining a solid understanding of the business to perform effective analytics (e.g., Revenue Schedules and Goal Posts).Review balance sheet reconciliations, and identify and institute account reconciliation efficiencies where warranted, in support of proper PASS account sign-off.Review quarterly journal entries and calculations (including CECL Reserves, FIN45 Reserves).Review quarterly reports in support of Agency mortgage loan information submitted to Corporate Accounting.Review accounting documentation in support of internal and external audits.Assist with the opening of new bank accounts and developing relationships with our banking partners.Effectively partner across the organization with Investor Reporting, Investor Operations, Servicing, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Controllers, Financial Reporting, and IT to ensure effective communications across the platform.Prepare various analytical reports and support special projects on an as needed / Ad Hoc basis.What you will bring:Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant accounting experienceSolid understanding of GAAP accounting principles.Strong accounting, research, and analytical skills.Ability to drive process improvement.Refined supervisory skillsStrong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.Willingness to work extended hours during peak reporting periods and the ability to support other internal groups as needed.Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word). Copilot, SQL, PowerBi skills a plus.Ability to multitask, be self-motivated, and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The salary range for this role is from $90,000 to $110,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
