Hotshot Delivery Driver

Job Description

The Hotshot Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages along daily local routes. Primarily operating an everyday vehicle, this role balances independent work with collaboration within a delivery team. The driver is responsible for maintaining vehicle safety, securing loads, interacting with customers, and adhering to regular working hours, all while upholding high standards of communication and safety compliance.

Hours - 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Deliver packages promptly and accurately on daily local routes
Inspect vehicle regularly to ensure safety and proper operation
Secure loads efficiently to prevent damage during transit
Engage professionally with customers during deliveries
Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
Comply with all safety requirements and company policies
Maintain clear communication with team members and dispatch

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Strong defensive driving skills
Ability to plan routes efficiently
Proven time management capabilities
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient with GPS navigation
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
