Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for members through recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure members have the freshest items available. You will juggle several tasks while helping members with bakery orders. What You'll Do Be a Team Member : Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with teammates; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert : Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; follow recipes/make‑up instructions; wrap, label, and store merchandise; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Be a Techie : Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality. Be an Owner : Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain work area per company policies; uphold quality and date‑control standards; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions. Be a Talent Ambassador : Advocate for the department and club; model high‑quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; set priorities, meet deadlines, communicate progress, and recommend improvements. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
