Quality Control Inspector

Pay: $22/hour

First 2 weeks is 2pm-1030pm

Location: City of Industry, CA 91746

You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate basic working knowledge of SQF, FDA, PMO, and customer requirements
• Perform a variety of chemical and physical analyses on incoming, in-process, and finished products (Moisture, Total Solids, Fat tests, Salt, pH, residual oxygen, leak detector, and titratable acidity)
• Perform basic microbial plating, interpretation, enumeration, and data entry
• Perform monthly scale verifications and quarterly thermometer verifications
• Identify non-conformances on finished product and places affected product on hold in SAP
• Retest products as needed to determine disposition
• Communication non-conformances on finished product
• Support Quality Assurance manager during regulatory and internal inspections
• Review food and safety documentation and verify CCP and preventive control records for failures

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in quality control and/or related fields (1-2yrs preferred)
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual English (must)
• MUST be Authorized to work in US
