Ultrasound Technologist - General with Vascular Experience

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour schedule from 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with recent experience in general ultrasound and vascular studies. The successful candidate will be proficient in performing a variety of ultrasound exams including, but not limited to, abdominal, vascular, and emergency department procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general and vascular ultrasound studies.
• Utilize ultrasound equipment to generate images for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Document patient information and exam findings accurately in the charting system.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in ultrasound.
• ARDMS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite ultrasound systems.
• Experience with PACS is preferred.
• Competence in performing abdomen, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, breast, carotid, and vascular exams.
