One of our Partners in Palm Springs, California is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a flexible outpatient locum tenens opportunity running June through August 2026.
This assignment offers:
- Outpatient-only oncology coverage
- No call responsibilities
- Flexible block scheduling
- Modern cancer care environment
- Strong clinical support staff
- Desirable Southern California location
Providers will see approximately 12–20 patients per day in a well-supported outpatient oncology practice utilizing AllScripts Sunrise EMR. This assignment is ideal for physicians seeking predictable weekday scheduling with strong compensation in a travel-friendly destination market.
Provider Pay Ranking: Top 10–15% of comparable Hematology/Oncology locum assignments in the current 2026 market.
Assignment Highlights

Job Responsibilities
- Outpatient hematology and oncology evaluations
- Chemotherapy management and treatment planning
- Follow-up oncology care
- Admissions as clinically necessary
- Coordination with nursing and oncology support staff
- Documentation within AllScripts Sunrise EMR
- Participation in multidisciplinary oncology care planning
