People Operations Specialist

About The Role The role owns core people operations processes, from onboarding and HRIS administration to compliance and benefits management, partnering closely with the broader people team. You will maintain scalable internal systems and ensure a seamless employee experience that supports a distributed workforce across multiple states. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring complete documentation and compliance Administer HRIS and benefits platforms (Rippling or Workday) and resolve day-to-day employee inquiries Maintain accurate personnel records and assist with state-by-state payroll and labor compliance Partner with people leadership to design and update employee handbooks and internal documentation Track and analyze people operations metrics, including headcount growth, retention, and time-to-onboard Support periodic performance review cycles and annual compensation planning logistics What We Are Looking For 2-4 years of experience in human resources, people operations, or talent administration within a technology company Hands-on experience with modern HRIS and payroll tools such as Rippling, Gusto, or Workday Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws, multi-state compliance, and benefit administration Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion Bonus: Experience supporting remote-first or hybrid organizations with 100+ employees #J-18808-Ljbffr Evlo AI
