Assistant Project Manager, Data Center Development & Construction

The Assistant Project Manager will work as part of a cross‑functional team in a wide range of building projects. Reporting to the Director, Data Center Development & Construction, this position is primarily responsible for assisting in project planning, organization, and management of day‑to‑day operations. This position is critical to providing project management support needed to sustain and grow AREP's construction projects across the portfolio and has an on‑site schedule in Hobart, Indiana. Primary Responsibilities Manage project documentation (development agreements, leases, permits, drawings, specifications, change orders, etc.). Assist in project schedule management, including updating and reporting on schedule progress. Carry out project meeting management tasks including scheduling, creating agendas, updating minutes, and tracking deliverables identified in meetings. Work with accounting team on project budget tasks including setting up job codes, processing invoices, managing expense reports, reviewing draw packages, and tracking job cost reports. Facilitate, issue and manage project contracts and agreements. Ensure contracts and proposals are signed, tracked, and returned to vendors. Ensure that scope creep, communications, and quality control are carefully managed through execution of project management change control and communications plans. Review/Revise job budgets as needed. Support project team through performing general office duties, data entry, and administrative tasks. Able to work collaboratively with co‑workers and management through trust and transparency. Ability to roll up the sleeves and get the job done. Ability to handle multiple competing deadlines and generate a detail‑oriented work product. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of construction project management experience. Overall knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
