Job Description Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx standards. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions and other duties as assigned. Schedule: T-S with a day off TBD, 0400-1700. Minimum Education High school diploma or GED. Minimum Experience Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials. Job Conditions Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain federal motor carrier safety regulations, including a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in your state with a good driving record. Position is non-covered safety-sensitive. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Pay Transparency Pay: $24.53–$37.23 per hour. Hours: Monday–Saturday 0400 AM–500 PM (hours vary); day off TBD.
