Salary Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. The hiring range is $111,928.12 — $124,364.58. Role Overview Drive the future of safe, efficient, and innovative mobility. Responsibilities Lead the City’s traffic engineering and transportation planning efforts. Oversee MUTCD compliance and traffic signal operations. Manage multi‑modal planning and intelligent transportation systems. Advance road safety and enhance pedestrian and multimodal connectivity. Guide long‑range transportation vision through the Safety Action Plan and Transportation Master Plan. Benefits Health & wellness benefits 6% retirement contribution match 3% 457 deferred compensation match General leave Work/life balance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an ABET‑accredited institution; must be registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Traffic Operations Engineer in Colorado, or have ability to obtain license within six months of hire. Five (5) years of progressive engineering experience in transportation planning and engineering. Technical knowledge of traffic operations, traffic control, transportation networks, and civil engineering. Valid driver’s license. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
