Bilingual Chinese-Speaking Endocrinologist

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Bilingual Chinese-Speaking Endocrinologist to join a medical practice serving a diverse patient population across New York. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing hormonal and metabolic disorders while providing compassionate, individualized care. Fluency in English and Chinese is required to communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and adrenal and pituitary disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage diabetes care, including medication management, glucose monitoring, and patient education.
• Order, review, and interpret relevant laboratory tests, hormone studies, and diagnostic imaging.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on patients' clinical needs.
• Educate patients on medication adherence, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists when necessary.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up instructions in English and Chinese.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations.
• Follow established clinical standards and patient safety practices.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Completion of an Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology.
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Fluency in English and Chinese; Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency should align with the clinic's patient population.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Previous experience in an outpatient endocrinology practice preferred.
