RN Quality Coordinator - Hybrid

Job Title

Coordinates interdisciplinary peer review activities of the MercyOne Medical Staffs. Coordinators activities associated with FPPE (Focused Professional Practice Evaluation) and OPPE (Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation). Assists in quality initiatives as related to the medical staff. Coordinates External Peer Review services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a current or compact state license as a registered nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa or Illinois.

Five (5) years clinical nursing experience required.

Basic understanding of performance improvement principles, data sampling, data collection, data analysis, and hospitalization procedures and practices related to patient care and utilization of acute care and ambulatory services.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

BSN preferred.
