Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining Church facilities in a good working physical order, providing for an excellent quality, safe facility.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Collaboration, customer/client focused, flexibility and work under pressure.
• Prior experience in physical structure maintenance, Carpentry, General Maintenance, Shop Inventory, Air Conditioning, Electrical, Plumbing, Equipment, Vehicles, Fire Suppression systems preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak English well to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, etc.
• Possess a valid Florida drivers license.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe physical plant environment on church property and serve on safety committee.
• Maintain working knowledge of all physical plant systems (i.e. A/C, electrical, plumbing), etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• May need to lift heavy objects.
