Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tech Lead (BPM & Appian) to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise business process management (BPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Appian , strong Java/J2EE development experience, and a proven ability to architect scalable workflow automation solutions in a cloud-native environment. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on development, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise applications.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and Business Process Management (BPM) platforms.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Appian , including:

  • Process Modeling

  • SAIL Interface Development

  • Appian Integrations

• Experience designing and implementing:

  • BPM workflows

  • Workflow automation

  • Case management solutions

• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture and REST APIs .

• Experience working with relational databases and enterprise application integrations.

• Hands-on experience with AWS , Docker , and Kubernetes .

• Experience with CI/CD tools including Git , Jenkins , and Maven .

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practices.

• Strong understanding of workflow optimization, business rules, and process orchestration.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Strong UI/UX design experience for workflow-driven applications.

• Experience with testing frameworks, automation, and quality assurance best practices.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and design patterns.

• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale Appian implementation projects.

• Experience mentoring development teams and providing technical leadership.

• Experience building cloud-native, highly scalable business applications.

• Financial services or enterprise domain experience is a plus.
