CNA FT Evenings

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring CNA to join our team at Eastern Star Home in Oriskany, NY. As a CNA, you will provide routine, daily nursing care to our residents in accordance with our established nursing care procedures. Responsibilities:

• Provide routine, daily nursing care to residents in accordance with established procedures

• Participate in and receive report from the nurse upon reporting for duty

• Review Resident Care Profiles daily to ensure appropriate nursing care

• Assist residents with oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, and hair care

• Perform daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse

• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information

• Treat all residents with kindness, dignity, and respect

• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures

Expectations:

• Report to work on time and ready to work at the start of the shift

• Provide proper notification when late or absent

• Demonstrate reliability and willingness to take additional responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of all resident, facility, and physician-related information

• Report to work well-groomed and in compliance with dress code

• Interact positively with residents, visitors, physicians, volunteers, and co-workers

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform lifting, bending, and stretching without limitations
