About the Position

Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, AHA Certifications required Must-Have: Proficient in IV start, experience with telemetry, competency with ventilators Description: We are seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for our night shift. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Experience with the EPIC documentation system is required. Certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. The estimated patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:2. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in IV management and ventilator care. Further essential skills include arterial line management and blood product administration. Candidates will work with patients experiencing a variety of critical conditions such as cardiac issues and respiratory failure. Interdisciplinary support is available through various services including physical therapy and pharmacy. Daily census averages around 28 patients. All candidates must comply with fingerprinting requirements promptly after acceptance of the position. References will be required from two professional contacts, preferably from a management level. All candidates must hold a valid compact or state RN license at the time of submission. Education must be from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
