Developing innovative ways to raise the bar on how Amazon connects with the leading Academics in their fields and drives impact while here at Amazon. Continually contributing to the knowledge base of both our team and the broader recruiting community by sharing intelligence related to relevant domains and profiles Building out academic talent networks and tapping knowledgeable academic sources (both internal and external) to develop strong relationships within the community. Owning business and stakeholder relationships (you're the go-to and trusted advisor), providing strategic guidance and coaching in close partnership with executive hiring managers & their teams. Conducting informational/exploratory calls, phone screens, & interviews. You'll actively participate in hiring decisions throughout the candidate life cycle. About The Team The Amazon Scholar Program enables university professors to work on large-scale and high-impact technical challenges at Amazon by joining Amazon as part-time employees or for limited-term engagements without leaving their academic institutions. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership experience Bachelor's degree or above Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships Experience recruiting passive candidates who are the most senior experts in their field 5+ years of progressive corporate, start up or executive search firm recruiting work with a focus on passive science/academic candidate generation in a high tech markets Preferred Qualifications Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools, CRM systems, and complex spreadsheets Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
