Paramedic

Role: Paramedic Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care utilizing both basic and advanced medical skills. Assess each call to determine the best course of action, operate medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IVs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, acting as a team leader when necessary. Collaborate professionally with public safety and health personnel, develop triage strategies, and ensure patient safety and protocol compliance. Lift and move patients as needed, coordinate with receiving facilities, and drive emergency vehicles efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate response protocols. Operate advanced medical equipment to provide critical care. Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare facilities to relay vital information. Lead scene management and ensure efficient unit operation. Participate in community outreach to promote positive relations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and community needs. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred. Current Montana Paramedic Certification or pending application, with valid National Registry. Valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS. Ability to pass drug, background, and physical agility screenings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
