Residential Intake Counselor

Responsibilities This opportunity in Intake and Admissions will support the purpose and procedures of the entire intake and admission process. It offers a convenient day shift schedule and there is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. The Intake Counselor ensures that treatment and clinical service recommendations are based upon patient needs. Job Duties Handle intake calls, complete thorough intake assessments, and enter all intake and admission data into hospital database Determine with MDs staffing level of care; establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources Maintain daily census records; verify insurance benefits Benefits Challenging and rewarding work environment Competitive compensation, Paid Time Off Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plans 401(k) with company match and discounted stock plan Qualifications Master’s degree in social work/counseling/psychology or related field OR current license to practice nursing in GA (or eligible to receive or renew) REQUIRED.
