Location: Media, PA - Hybrid – 1–2 days/week onsite

Role Overview
Seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the modernization of Wawa's enterprise dimensional data warehouse and analytics environment. The role is heavily focused on Snowflake, Python, Kimball/star-schema dimensional modeling, certified data products, and enterprise analytics architecture .
Key Responsibilities

• Lead redesign and modernization of enterprise dimensional data warehouses using Kimball/star schema
• Define standards for dimensional modeling, semantic consistency, certified datasets, and reporting structures
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models
• Architect scalable Snowflake data and transformation solutions
• Establish Python-based data engineering standards and reusable patterns
• Design curated/certified datasets supporting executive dashboards, operational reporting, and self-service BI
• Align KPI definitions, reporting logic, and semantic models across the organization
• Drive data governance, lineage, quality, and consistency
• Provide architecture leadership and mentorship to data engineers/modelers
• Lead modernization roadmaps and improve scalability across the analytics ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of enterprise data architecture, analytics engineering, or data warehousing experience
• MUST HAVE: Strong Snowflake expertise
• MUST HAVE: Advanced Python development
• MUST HAVE: Deep Kimball/star-schema dimensional modeling experience
• MUST HAVE: Enterprise dashboarding and certified data product experience
• Strong SQL development and optimization
• Experience designing curated reporting layers and semantic models
• Experience supporting Tableau, Power BI, or similar enterprise BI platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Preferred

• AWS cloud experience
• Databricks or distributed processing frameworks
• Experience modernizing large enterprise analytics and reporting environments
