About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Orthopedics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred. - Experience with orthopedic surgical patients, including total joint replacements and spine surgery is preferred. Description: The registered nurse will work in an acute care hospital setting. The nurse will have a patient ratio of 1:5. The facility serves adult patients. Daily census and number of visits per day are variable. The unit has a total of 41 beds. The patient population includes orthopedic surgical patients and multi-trauma patients. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support like physical therapy and respiratory services. Must comply with weekend requirements. Floating between units is required. All requested time off must be submitted upfront during the application process. Flexibility in scheduling is essential. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required. Travelers may need to float between nearby facilities if necessary. The facility does not accept any background hits for compliance. Providers may be expected to submit evidence for cell phone use if required for the assignment.
