Project Manager - Healthcare Provider Applications

Location: Various, Kentucky (Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to support Provider Operations initiatives within a healthcare payer environment. This role manages a portfolio of projects, with responsibility for project financials, resource planning, executive reporting, vendor management, and stakeholder communications. The position will support Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) work and internal project management activities for the Provider Team, which is focused on rebuilding expansive Provider Data structures and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• In depth experience with ServiceNow reporting. Querying project, financial, and budget data to report out project burn down rates.
• Manage a portfolio of multiple projects from initiation through closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Create executive-ready status reports, dashboards, and project metrics.
• Analyze project performance, resource utilization, and financial trends through forecasting and modeling.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple teams.
• Lead stakeholder and vendor communications and project governance activities.
• Coordinate delivery across business, technology, and vendor teams.
• Track resources and project hours to ensure alignment with budget.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience in a healthcare payer environment, including Provider Operations or Provider Management from the payer side. Must have experience with portfolio management across multiple teams and projects.

• Project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Budget forecasting, financial modeling, and financial reporting.
• Executive status reporting and dashboard creation.
• Data analysis and KPI reporting.
• Stakeholder and vendor management.
• Risk, issue, and dependency management.
• Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.
• Resource planning and capacity management.
• Experience supporting Medicare, Medicaid, Dual Eligible populations (D-SNP/FIDE-SNP), and ICHRA programs.

Technical Skills:

• Jira and ServiceNow.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, reporting, financial analysis).
• Power BI or similar reporting/dashboard platforms.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Provider Data Management, Provider Network Operations, or Value-Based Care initiatives.
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or other Generative AI solutions.
• Project Management Office (PMO) governance experience.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Power BI Certification.
